LEGO Super Heroes Marvel 10789 Spider-Man's Car and Doc Ock

LEGO set 10789, Spider-Man's Car and Doc Ock, depicts Spider-Man’s car with Doc Ock in the Spidey and His Amazing Friends setting. Released in 2023 under the Super Heroes Marvel theme, it contains 48 pieces and 2 minifigures.

Set 10789 belongs to the Spider-Man branch of LEGO Super Heroes Marvel, specifically the Spidey and His Amazing Friends subtheme. Its subject is a small encounter between Spider-Man and Doc Ock, with Spider-Man’s car providing the central build and play focus.

The model is built from 48 pieces, resulting in a compact vehicle based set. The 2 included minifigures are Spider-Man, also listed as Spidey, with medium legs and a white spider print, and Dr. Octopus, or Doc Ock, as a female version with light bluish gray arms. The French retail title also refers to glow in the dark pieces, a notable visual feature for this set.

This is primarily a play oriented set for quick character scenes rather than a large display model. Within a Super Heroes Marvel collection, it fits among the smaller Spider-Man sets tied to Spidey and His Amazing Friends, useful for adding a compact vehicle and two clearly identified characters from that part of the licence.
