LEGO Ideas and CUUSOO 21109 Exo-Suit

LEGO set 21109 “Exo-Suit” depicts a pilotable mechanical suit accompanied by two green Classic Space style astronauts. Released in 2014 under LEGO Ideas and CUUSOO, it contains 321 pieces and presents a compact retro science-fiction approach to space exploration equipment.

“Exo-Suit” sits within LEGO Ideas and CUUSOO, the theme associated with fan-submitted concepts that became official sets. The model represents a science-fiction exoskeleton, suitable as a piece of space work equipment or exploration machinery. Its subject and colour accents clearly evoke the heritage of Classic Space.

The build focuses on an exposed mechanical frame, articulated limbs, visible jointing and a pilot position. With 321 pieces, it is a compact model rather than a large spacecraft, and its appeal lies in the detail of the suit itself.

This set suits display, collecting and figure-based play. It is especially relevant to collectors of LEGO Ideas and CUUSOO, as well as builders interested in space equipment rather than ships or bases. Within the theme, it stands out through its fan-design origin, its mechanical subject matter and its direct visual connection to classic LEGO space imagery.
