LEGO Minecraft 21166 The "Abandoned" Mine

LEGO set 21166, The "Abandoned" Mine, depicts an abandoned mine from the Minecraft universe. Released in 2020 under the Minecraft theme, it contains 248 pieces and includes Steve and a Zombie.

The "Abandoned" Mine recreates a familiar Minecraft setting in LEGO form: an underground mine suited to exploration and encounters with hostile mobs. Within the Minecraft theme, it sits among compact scene based sets that translate recognizable game situations into block built terrain.

The build focuses on a small mine environment with cubic terrain, matching the visual language of Minecraft. Rather than a large display model, it provides a concise play setting where Steve can explore, mine or face a threat in an enclosed space.

This set suits Minecraft fans who want a self contained underground scene or an addition to a broader Minecraft layout. It can be displayed as a small vignette, used for play, or combined with other mine and cave themed builds. In the wider theme, it works best as a modular supplement to larger environments.
