LEGO BrickHeadz 40631, Gandalf the Grey and Balrog, depicts two Middle earth characters in the compact, blocky style of the BrickHeadz theme. Released in 2023, it contains 348 pieces and belongs to the BrickHeadz range.

Gandalf the Grey and Balrog brings a well known Lord of the Rings pairing into the BrickHeadz format. The theme focuses on stylised character builds, using compact proportions, square heads and simplified details designed primarily for display and collection.

Gandalf and the Balrog are brick built characters rather than minifigure scale figures. The build relies on colours, shapes and recognizable character cues to distinguish the wizard and the creature within the BrickHeadz visual language.

It suits BrickHeadz collectors, Lord of the Rings fans and builders looking for a small display model rather than a large play scene. Within the BrickHeadz theme, it sits alongside other character focused releases that translate licensed figures into a consistent, collectible construction style.
