LEGO 41717, Mia's Wildlife Rescue, depicts a safari animal care and rescue setting in the Friends theme. Released in 2022, the set contains 439 pieces and features Mia alongside Dr. Makena and Joaquim.
This model sits within LEGO Friends as a wildlife rescue scene rather than a town, home or school setting. Its subject is animal care, with a dedicated place for helping safari wildlife and a small cast of named characters supporting the story.
The build uses 439 pieces and includes 3 mini-dolls: Mia in a bright light yellow jacket and olive green skirt, Dr. Makena and Joaquim. The French retail title also refers to zebra and giraffe figures, giving the set a clear safari wildlife focus without needing a licensed setting.
LEGO 41717 is suited to role play about rescuing, observing and caring for animals, and it can also be displayed as a compact Friends wildlife scene. In a broader Friends collection, it works as a specialised rescue centre that pairs naturally with travel, nature or everyday life builds from the same theme.
