LEGO Friends set 41749, Newsroom Van, was released in 2023 with 446 pieces. It depicts a news reporting van within the Friends theme, connected with filming a report and an animal rescue situation.
Newsroom Van is part of the LEGO Friends theme and focuses on a vehicle used for a news story. The subject fits the Heartlake City setting, where characters can follow an event, record a report and build a story around an animal-related situation.
The set contains 446 pieces and 3 named mini-dolls: Peter in a lime shirt and sand blue pants, Aliya in a lavender top and yellow skirt, and Darrel. The French retail title also refers to an owl figure, which links the reporting scene to an animal rescue angle.
