LEGO Technic 42048 Race Kart

LEGO Technic set 42048, Race Kart, depicts a racing kart built in the mechanical style of the Technic theme. Released in 2016, it contains 345 pieces and does not include any minifigures.

Race Kart belongs to the Technic theme, where the emphasis is on structural building and mechanical interpretation rather than character based scenes. The subject is a racing kart, a compact motorsport vehicle presented here as a standalone Technic model.

The build therefore relies on Technic elements such as beams, axles, connectors and structural assemblies.

The set is relevant to Technic collectors and builders interested in racing vehicles in a contained format. It can be displayed as a kart model or placed alongside other Technic vehicles for comparison.
