LEGO Friends 42612 Cat Playground Adventure

LEGO Friends set 42612, Cat Playground Adventure, depicts a cat play area with characters and animals. Released in 2024 under the Friends theme, it contains 87 pieces and fits the theme’s focus on everyday scenes and friendship-based play.

Cat Playground Adventure belongs to the LEGO Friends theme, which often presents everyday activities, hobbies and character interactions. This set focuses on cats in a park setting, placing it alongside Friends models built around animals, outdoor play and small narrative scenes.

The set contains 87 pieces and 2 named mini-dolls: Olly, described with an animal print shirt, dark azure pants and white shoes, and Liann, with a lime and coral shirt and bright light orange shorts. The French retail title also refers to 2 cat figures. Because the supplied data does not confirm specific accessories, mechanisms or detailed build features, the model is best described in general terms as a small playable animal area.

Its main use is story play, with Olly, Liann and the cats providing the cast for short scenes. It can also serve as an add-on for a Friends collection based on pets, parks or town life. In the context of the theme, it sits among the smaller builds, useful for expanding a setting without becoming the centrepiece of a large display.
