LEGO Friends set 42640, Guinea Pig Playground, depicts a small play area for guinea pigs with characters from the Friends theme. Released in 2025, it contains 86 pieces and fits the theme’s focus on everyday settings, friendship stories and pet care.

Guinea Pig Playground is part of the LEGO Friends theme, which often presents neighbourhood locations, hobbies and scenes involving animals. This set focuses on a guinea pig play area, making it a compact pet based scene rather than a large building or vehicle model.

The listed contents include 86 pieces, 2 mini-dolls and pet related accessories. The named characters are Aliya, wearing a coral top and medium azure pants, and Matilde, wearing a white shirt and red skirt. The French retail title also refers to animal figures and pet accessories, so the model is clearly designed around interaction between the characters and the guinea pigs.

The set works as a small addition to a Friends layout, especially alongside other models about homes, leisure spaces or animals. Its limited size makes it suitable for simple display, quick role play or collecting named Friends characters with their associated everyday scenes.
