LEGO Disney 43290 Kevin & Dug

LEGO set 43290, Kevin & Dug, depicts the bird Kevin and the dog Dug from the Disney and Pixar world of Up.

Kevin & Dug presents two recognizable characters from Disney and Pixar’s Up as brick built models. Its subject is character focused, rather than a full location or scene from the film.

The build therefore appears to focus on shaping Kevin and Dug themselves, using the pieces to capture their silhouettes, colours and display presence.

This model is suited to Disney collectors, fans of Up and builders who prefer displayable character models. Within the Disney theme, it sits among sets that use familiar figures as the main build. The absence of minifigures separates it from more scene based releases, where small characters and settings usually carry the storytelling.
