LEGO 5887 Dino Defense HQ is a Dino theme set released in 2012. It depicts a defensive headquarters for encounters with dinosaurs and contains 793 pieces with 4 human minifigures.

Dino Defense HQ serves as a central base within the Dino theme. The theme places human heroes in a modern action setting built around dinosaur encounters. Set 5887 is therefore best understood as a command and defense location rather than a stand-alone vehicle or small scene.

The build uses 793 pieces and brings together structural parts, equipment and scene-setting elements. The 4 minifigures are Hero with Ammo Belt, Hero with White Shirt and Radio in Belt, Hero, Female and Hero, Pilot with Goggles. These names indicate a varied human team, while the exact play functions should not be overstated without a detailed inventory description.

The set suits collectors of the Dino theme, builders who want a base for action scenes and anyone displaying a broader dinosaur-focused layout. Within the theme, Dino Defense HQ can act as an anchor model, giving other figures, creatures and related sets a clear operational setting.
