LEGO City 60045 Police Patrol

LEGO City set 60045, Police Patrol, depicts a police patrol scene within the City Police theme. Released in 2014, it contains 408 pieces and presents a straightforward law enforcement scenario with officers and a criminal.

Police Patrol is part of LEGO City, specifically the Police subtheme. The set represents a patrol and response situation, fitting the recurring City approach to urban order, pursuit and arrest play. It is not based on an external licence, but on the broad everyday city setting used throughout the theme.

The set includes 408 pieces and 3 minifigures. The characters are a policeman with a blue shirt, badge and pouches, dark blue legs and a dark blue cap, a similar policeman with ear defenders and sunglasses, and a criminal with an open black jacket over a prison shirt, dark bluish grey legs, a black hat, a dark tan backpack and a black eyemask. These figures clearly establish the roles in the scene.

Police Patrol suits play layouts, City displays and collections focused on the Police range. It can stand as a compact incident scene or be placed alongside other urban sets to extend a police storyline. Within LEGO City Police, it is best understood as an action and patrol based set rather than a civilian street or building focused release.
