LEGO City 60068 Crooks' Hideout

LEGO City set 60068, Crooks' Hideout, depicts a criminals’ hideout within the Police theme. Released in 2015, it contains 473 pieces and provides a setting for surveillance, pursuit and arrest stories in a City layout.

Rather than presenting a police station, it focuses on the place where the criminals are hiding. That makes it a useful counterpart to patrol vehicles, officers and other law enforcement scenes in the same theme.

The set includes 473 pieces and 5 minifigures. The character selection consists of a policeman with a dark blue jacket, pockets, badge, white helmet with visor and orange sunglasses, a criminal with prison shirt, suspenders, black hat and dark orange beard, a female criminal with prison shirt, sand blue legs and dark orange hair, a criminal with open prison shirt, dark tan legs and dark bluish gray hat, and a Swamp Police ranger with dark tan vest, zipper, radio, badge, dark blue legs, tan campaign hat and sunglasses. The mix gives the model an immediate police versus crooks setup.

This set suits builders who want a crime scene location rather than only police vehicles or official buildings. Among Police sets, its value is in providing the hideout side of the story.
