LEGO City 60230 People Pack - Space Research and Development

LEGO set 60230, People Pack - Space Research and Development, depicts a civilian and scientific team connected with space research. Released in 2019 in the City theme, under Mars Exploration, it contains 209 pieces and 14 minifigures.

This set sits within the Mars Exploration branch of LEGO City. Rather than focusing on a single large vehicle, it presents a group of people, roles and small activity areas associated with research, development and preparation for a space mission.

The main emphasis is on the 14 minifigures: astronauts in orange, white, blue and bright light blue suits, a scientist in a lab coat, a physician, a Droid Engineer and other team members. The 209 pieces provide small accessories for laboratory work, training and field activity, supporting several compact scenes instead of one dominant model.

It is useful for builders who want to populate a base, control area or LEGO City display connected with Mars exploration. It also has appeal as a minifigure focused set because the roles are varied and clearly tied to the theme. Among City Mars Exploration sets, it works best as a supplement to vehicles and facilities.
