LEGO City 60379, Deep-Sea Explorer Submarine, depicts an underwater exploration mission with a submarine, divers and wreck related elements. Released in 2023, it belongs to the City theme and contains 842 pieces.

This set places LEGO City in an underwater exploration setting rather than a conventional street or service scene. The main subject is a deep-sea exploration submarine, supported by story elements associated with a drone, a shark and a wreck, as described in the French retail title provided.

The model is built from 842 pieces and includes 7 minifigures. Rebrickable lists Iris Icicle in a medium azure and dark blue suit, several Ocean Explorer divers in dark blue wetsuits, Stevegoesnorth with beard and glasses, a woman diver, an explorer in a white suit with an orange life vest, an Ocean / Arctic Explorer figure and a skeleton with a bicorne hat and one leg.

Within City, 60379 is suited to play scenes built around a specialist crew, underwater equipment and discovery at a wreck site. It can also be displayed as a technical exploration vehicle. Compared with more everyday City subjects, its appeal comes from the marine setting and the relatively varied cast of explorers and divers.
