LEGO City 60459 Airplane vs. Hospital Bed Race Car Pack

LEGO City set 60459, Airplane vs. Hospital Bed Race Car Pack, depicts a soapbox style race between a small airplane build and a hospital bed turned into a racer. Released in 2025, it belongs to the City theme and contains 70 pieces.

This set sits within LEGO City, but it approaches the theme through a comic racing idea rather than a standard urban service vehicle. The airplane and hospital bed racers create a clear head to head scene that can stand alone or be placed into a wider City layout.

The box contains 70 pieces and 2 minifigures. The named figures are Pilot, Dark Brown Jacket, Dark Tan Legs, Aviator Helmet and Patient, Bright Light Blue Scrubs, Bandage. The build focuses on two small vehicles with distinct subjects, giving each character a matching racer for immediate play.

It is suited to quick play, humorous display vignettes and City collections that include unusual small vehicles. Among City sets, it works as a compact side scene rather than a core building or emergency vehicle, adding a race event to streets, parks or public spaces.
