LEGO set 6279, Skull Island, depicts a pirate hideout within the Pirates theme. Released in 1995, it belongs to Pirates I and contains 386 pieces.

Skull Island is part of the Pirates I line, where pirate crews and Imperial Guard soldiers share a seaborne setting. Set 6279 provides an island location rather than a main vessel, giving the theme a fixed place for encounters, escapes and faction conflict.

The set contains 386 pieces and 6 minifigures. This lineup balances pirate characters with Imperial Guard opposition.

Skull Island suits display, story based play and collecting within the Pirates theme. Placed beside ships or imperial outposts from the same setting, it works as a land based scene, a pirate base or a meeting point for rival crews and guards.
