Welcome to the Hidden Side is best understood as a compact introduction to the Hidden Side theme. Set 70427 presents that setting in a small scene rather than through a large building or vehicle.

The build contains 189 pieces and 4 minifigures. The listed characters are Jack Davids, Light Aqua Hoodie with Hood and Dark Azure Cap, Waylon (28621 Head), Scrimper (28621 Head) and Axel Chops (28621 Head). The French retail title also refers to use with an augmented reality app for iPhone and Android, a feature associated with the Hidden Side concept.

This set is suited to builders who want specific Hidden Side characters, a small play scene or an additional display element for the theme. In a wider collection, it works as a supporting set beside larger Hidden Side models, adding figures and narrative context without serving as the main centrepiece.
