LEGO Ninjago 70609 Manta Ray Bomber

LEGO set 70609, Manta Ray Bomber, depicts a Shark Army aircraft with a shape inspired by a manta ray. Released in 2017 under Ninjago, in the The LEGO Ninjago Movie subtheme, it includes 341 pieces and 4 minifigures.

The model belongs to the setting of The LEGO Ninjago Movie, where enemy vehicles often use sea creature imagery. Manta Ray Bomber follows that visual language with a broad flying vehicle tied to the Shark Army, giving the set a clear role among the film based Ninjago releases.

The build uses 341 pieces and is centered on the main aircraft, supported by characters for direct conflict play. The included minifigures are Shark Army Great White with Scuba Airtanks, Shark Army Gunner / Charlie, Cole (LEGO Ninjago Movie) and Shen-Li. This lineup places Shark Army members opposite characters associated with Ninjago, so the set can stand on its own for simple story scenes.

It is suited to vehicle play, display with other The LEGO Ninjago Movie models, or collecting figures from the film range. In a Ninjago collection, it sits on the antagonist side rather than among the ninja vehicles, making it useful as a counterpart to hero focused sets.
