LEGO Ninjago set 70653 “Firstbourne”, released in 2018, represents the dragon Firstbourne from the Ninjago universe. With 892 pieces, it combines a large creature build with 6 minifigures connected to the Hunted storyline context.

“Firstbourne” sits within Ninjago as a creature focused set rather than a vehicle or location based build. The main subject is the dragon itself, giving the set a clear action role within the theme’s adventure driven setting.

The set contains 892 pieces and 6 minifigures: Muzzle, Jet Jack, Kai with Scabbard (Hunted), Heavy Metal / Faith with Hat, Cole with Bandana (Hunted) and Chew Toy. This character selection places ninjas and related figures around the Hunted context, supporting scenes built around the dragon encounter.

It is suited to Ninjago collectors who want a dragon led model, as well as builders interested in displayable creature builds. Among sets from the same theme, it stands out as a central action model with strong visual presence, useful for both play scenarios and shelf display.
