LEGO Ninjago 70666 The Golden Dragon

LEGO Ninjago set 70666, “The Golden Dragon”, depicts a golden dragon associated with Lloyd in the Ninjago universe. Released in 2019, it contains 171 pieces and belongs to the Legacy strand of the theme.

“The Golden Dragon” presents a focused Ninjago scene built around Lloyd and a gold dragon. As a Legacy set, it revisits material from the theme in a self contained format, with the dragon as the main build and the included characters setting up a direct hero versus enemy situation.

The build uses 171 pieces and creates a compact dragon model, with the visual emphasis placed on the golden colour scheme and the recognizable parts of the creature, including head, wings, body and tail.

This set works for play, display or collecting. The dragon gives the model a clear focal point, while the minifigures provide enough context for a Ninjago confrontation. Within the wider theme, it sits as a Legacy entry centred on Lloyd and the golden dragon imagery rather than on a vehicle or location.
