LEGO Star Wars 7161 Gungan Sub

LEGO set 7161, Gungan Sub, represents the Gungan submarine from the Star Wars universe. Released in 1999 under the Star Wars theme, it contains 379 pieces and includes 3 minifigures connected with the vehicle and its scene context.

Gungan Sub belongs to the early LEGO Star Wars range and focuses on a Gungan underwater vehicle. Rather than presenting a starfighter or ground craft, the set adds a different type of transport to the Star Wars theme and reflects a specific setting within the license.

The build is centered on the rounded, organic profile of the submarine, giving it a visual character distinct from many more angular vehicles in the same theme.

This set is suited to collectors of the early LEGO Star Wars period, as well as builders interested in display scenes based on travel and exploration. On a shelf, it works as a companion to character focused and vehicle focused models from the theme. For play, the included minifigures give the craft a clear narrative setting without needing additional context.
