LEGO Super Mario set 72042, Prince Florian & Castle Bowser, depicts a scene built around Bowser’s castle and the character Prince Florian. Released in 2025, it belongs to the Super Mario theme and contains 1251 pieces.

Set 72042 is part of the LEGO Super Mario theme, which translates Nintendo game locations, characters and play situations into brick built models. Its title links Prince Florian with Bowser’s castle, placing the model in a setting based on exploration and conflict within the licence rather than around a single vehicle or small accessory.

With 1251 pieces, the build is centred on a castle structure and details associated with Bowser’s world.

The set fits a Super Mario collection focused on recognizable locations, display scenes or course building. Compared with other sets in the same theme, it is best identified by its castle subject and by the explicit pairing of Prince Florian with Bowser, making it useful as a Bowser themed backdrop.
