LEGO Star Wars 75142 Homing Spider Droid

LEGO Star Wars set 75142, Homing Spider Droid, depicts a combat spider droid from the Star Wars universe. Released in 2016, it belongs to the Star Wars theme and contains 310 pieces with 4 included figures.

Homing Spider Droid represents a droid unit associated with the Separatist forces in the Star Wars licence. Set 75142 focuses on a ground based walker rather than a starship, placing it among Star Wars releases built around surface battles and mechanical combat units. Its subject is therefore closely tied to battlefield display and play scenes.

The build uses 310 pieces to assemble the main spider droid and to support it with a small figure selection. The included characters and figures are Yoda, Olive Green Head, Dark Tan Undershirt, Thick Creases, a Battle Droid with one bent arm and one straight arm, a Clone Trooper in 41st Elite Corps Ranger Platoon Armor, Kashyyyk, and a Dwarf Spider Droid with a dark bluish gray dome and shooter cannon.

This set suits LEGO Star Wars collectors who want Separatist droids, clone forces and Jedi presence in one compact ground battle setup. For display, the main appeal is the droid silhouette, while for play the figure mix creates a clear conflict. In a Star Wars collection, it fits especially well beside Kashyyyk focused scenes and other droid units.
