LEGO Star Wars set 75228, “Escape Pod vs. Dewback Microfighters”, pairs a stylized escape pod with a Dewback in the Microfighters format. Released in 2019, it contains 177 pieces and belongs to the Star Wars theme.

This set brings together two subjects associated with the desert scenes of Star Wars: a compact escape pod and a Dewback connected with Imperial troops. The Microfighters format presents vehicles and creatures in a reduced, easily recognizable style, emphasizing the core shapes rather than large scale detail.

Both models are compact, with a simple angular pod and a Dewback scaled for interaction with minifigures.

The set suits Microfighters collectors, small Star Wars play scenes, and display where space is limited. Within the Star Wars theme, it belongs among compact character focused sets, where the appeal comes from recognizable subjects and included figures rather than a large or highly detailed reproduction.
