LEGO Star Wars 75278 D-O

LEGO Star Wars set 75278 D-O was released in 2020 and represents the droid D-O from “The Rise of Skywalker”. With 519 pieces, it belongs to the Star Wars theme as a buildable character model intended mainly for display.

D-O is a droid from the Star Wars universe, associated with the film “The Rise of Skywalker”. Set 75278 recreates the character in brick form, focusing on the tilted head, compact body and single wheel that define its outline. Within the Star Wars theme, it fits among character and droid models rather than spacecraft, locations or battle based playsets.

The build is centered on capturing the overall shape of the droid, with visible mechanical detailing and a design that refers to the on screen character.

This set is mainly suited to Star Wars collectors who want a recognizable droid for a shelf or display area. It may also appeal to builders interested in unusual character shapes and non humanoid subjects. Compared with many Star Wars sets based on vehicles, settings or minifigure scenes, D-O has a more display oriented role and represents a single character rather than a broader moment from the story.
