LEGO Avatar set 75577, Mako Submarine, depicts a submarine from the world of Avatar: The Way of Water. Released in 2023, it belongs to the Avatar theme and uses 553 pieces to build an RDA vehicle with Pandora related characters.

The model focuses on the Mako Submarine, an underwater craft connected with the human and military presence in the Avatar licence. Within the Avatar theme, it offers a technological subject rather than a build centred mainly on Pandora’s wildlife, reefs or natural settings.

The set contains 553 pieces and 4 minifigures: Neteyam, Ao’nung, Spider and RDA Quaritch. The main build is the submarine, giving the set a vehicle based structure for underwater scenes. The French retail title also refers to alien fish and a stingray figure, placing the action in Pandora’s marine environment.

This set suits story driven play involving the RDA and the characters of Pandora, while also working as a display model. In an Avatar collection, it adds a mechanical counterpart to more organic scenery and creature based sets. It is especially useful for grouping scenes inspired by Avatar: The Way of Water.
