LEGO City 7686 Helicopter Transporter

LEGO City set 7686, “Helicopter Transporter”, depicts a road vehicle used to carry a helicopter. Released in 2009 under the Traffic area of City, it contains 382 pieces and fits into the theme’s civilian transport and worksite settings.

Its subject is a specialised road transport scene, with a vehicle carrying a helicopter. This places it among City models focused on roads, service vehicles and everyday work rather than buildings or emergency stations.

The set includes 382 pieces and 3 minifigures. The listed characters are workers wearing blue jackets with orange stripes and dark bluish gray legs, with variations in headgear and eyewear: a black cap with silver sunglasses, a black helmet with visor and beard, and a black helmet with visor and orange sunglasses. The build therefore combines a transporter, an aircraft load and a small crew.

It is suited to City layouts based on traffic, transport and operational scenes. The model can be displayed as a self contained convoy or added to a larger road network with other vehicles. For collectors, it sits within the Traffic side of City as a utility transport set, offering a specific logistics subject rather than a general town structure.
