LEGO City 7738 Coast Guard Helicopter and Life Raft

LEGO set 7738, Coast Guard Helicopter and Life Raft, depicts a Coast Guard rescue with a helicopter and life raft. Released in 2008 under the City theme, Coast Guard subtheme, it contains 446 pieces and 4 minifigures.

This set belongs to the City range focused on coastal rescue services. Its subject is a maritime emergency scene, pairing a Coast Guard helicopter with a life raft. Within the Coast Guard subtheme, it fits as an air rescue model that can sit alongside other sea based response sets.

The build centers on the helicopter while adding a separate rescue element for the scenario. The included characters give the scene rescuers and a civilian role.

It suits City builders who want a clear rescue setting rather than a general aircraft model. For display, it represents the Coast Guard subtheme through an aviation focused scene; for play, it provides an immediate setup involving the helicopter, raft, and minifigure roles.
