LEGO 80053 Mei's Dragon Mech is a Monkie Kid set released in 2024. It depicts Mei’s dragon mech and contains 998 pieces with 5 minifigures from the Monkie Kid theme.

Set 80053 belongs to the Monkie Kid theme, a LEGO range built around original characters and imagery influenced by Chinese storytelling traditions. The main subject is Mei’s dragon mech, so the model gives Mei a clear central role within the theme rather than treating her as a supporting presence.

The set contains 998 pieces and 5 minifigures: Monkie Kid, Bright Light Orange Jacket, Winking, Mei, White Armor, Pearl Gold Should Guard, Robot (Blue), Robot (Yellow), and Robot (Red). Based on the confirmed data, the build is centered on a large mech model accompanied by hero characters and robot opponents for action oriented scenes.

It suits display because of the focused mech subject, while the minifigure selection also supports play and character based storytelling. In a Monkie Kid collection, it can be placed as a Mei focused set, complementing models that emphasize Monkie Kid or other figures from the same theme.
