LEGO 8078 Portal of Atlantis is a 2010 set from the Atlantis theme, built around an underwater portal and the expedition that reaches it. It contains 1008 pieces and 7 minifigures, including human explorers, aquatic warriors, and the Atlantis Portal Emperor.

Portal of Atlantis represents a major location within the Atlantis theme: the gateway to the lost underwater city. Rather than focusing on a single exploration vehicle, the set provides a built setting for discovery, confrontation, and the guarded entrance to Atlantis. This makes it a narrative centrepiece for the theme.

It suits builders who want a displayable scene as well as a play setting with opposing groups. Within an Atlantis collection, it stands apart from vehicle based sets by providing a fixed destination for the expedition. It can anchor a shelf display or serve as the main location for stories involving the portal and its guardians.
