LEGO Star Wars set 9488, “Elite Clone Trooper & Commando Droid Battle Pack”, is a small battle pack focused on clone forces and a commando droid. Released in 2012, it contains 98 pieces in the Star Wars theme.

Set 9488 belongs to the LEGO Star Wars range and presents a compact conflict between clone troopers and droid forces. As a battle pack, it is not built around a large vehicle or location, but around a small build and a focused selection of characters for skirmish play.

The build is compact and supports the figure lineup, keeping the set centered on troop building rather than on a complex model.

In the wider theme, it works as a supporting set beside larger ships or environments, adding personnel and scene options without taking the role of a main display model.
