The LEGO Architecture theme brings together 64 sets released from 2008 to 2026, from miniature skyscrapers to landmarks of several thousand pieces. It averages 846 pieces per set and runs from the 21003 Seattle Space Needle, 57 pieces, to the 21061 Notre-Dame de Paris, 4,382 pieces.

Landmarks from around the world in LEGO bricks

LEGO Architecture turns real buildings and monuments into bricks, from American skyscrapers to palaces and temples. The theme began in 2008 with the 21000 Sears Tower (69 pieces) and the 21001 John Hancock Center (72 pieces), two Chicago towers in compact models.

To choose between versions, our LEGO Eiffel Tower guide compares the sets by piece count, launch price and year.

It then opened up to residential architecture with the 21005 Fallingwater (811 pieces) in 2009 and the 21010 Robie House (2,276 pieces) in 2011, and later to seats of power such as the 21006 The White House and the 21030 United States Capitol Building (1,032 pieces).

Irregular releases and ever larger models

The pace varies a lot from one year to the next. 2016 has the most sets with 7, followed by 2017 with 6, while 2021, 2023 and 2024 each have a single set.

Model size has grown noticeably. At 846 pieces on average, the theme is far above the average of the whole catalogue, which stands at 389 pieces. The three largest sets are recent: the 21061 Notre-Dame de Paris (2024, 4,382 pieces), the 21067 Tower Bridge (2026, 3,745 pieces) and the 21063 Neuschwanstein Castle (2025, 3,455 pieces).

Skylines, big cities and a light colour palette

The Skylines sub-theme includes 14 sets devoted to city silhouettes. The theme also features metropolises such as the 21039 Shanghai, the 21052 Dubai and the 21057 Singapore.

The colours stay understated, close to the materials of the real buildings. White accounts for 24% of the pieces, Tan for 21% and Light Bluish Gray for 13%, ahead of Black at 8% and Dark Bluish Gray at 6%.
