LEGO Icons 10282 adidas Originals Superstar

LEGO set 10282 adidas Originals Superstar represents a buildable adidas sneaker intended as a display model.

Set 10282 adidas Originals Superstar turns an adidas Originals Superstar sneaker into a LEGO model. Within the Icons theme, it belongs to the group of sets that depict recognizable real world objects, rather than vehicles, buildings, or character based scenes. Its subject is defined by the adidas licence and by the sneaker’s status as a design object.

The build focuses on creating the form of the shoe, using LEGO elements to suggest the main volumes, surfaces, and visual contrasts of the original subject.

This model is aimed mainly at display, collecting, and interest in sportswear design. It can also suit LEGO Icons collectors who want an object based model rather than a scene or a vehicle. In the wider Icons range, it stands as a self contained decorative build, easy to understand without reference to a larger fictional setting.
