LEGO Icons 10283 NASA Space Shuttle Discovery

LEGO Icons set 10283, NASA Space Shuttle Discovery, represents the Space Shuttle Discovery as a buildable model focused on a real spaceflight subject.

Set 10283, NASA Space Shuttle Discovery, sits within Icons as a realistic space subject rather than a fictional spacecraft. The model is built around the recognizable form of the shuttle, giving the set a technical and display oriented character within a theme that often covers established objects and cultural references.

With 2355 pieces, the build is centered on the vehicle itself rather than on a scene populated by characters. Its contents are therefore directed toward shaping the shuttle, with the parts used to convey its volumes, surfaces and overall Discovery profile.

This set is best suited to builders looking for a display model, a collection piece or a space related build with a sober presentation. Within Icons, it can be placed alongside sets based on real world subjects and recognizable designs, where the emphasis is more on finished presence than on minifigure driven play.
