LEGO Other 17101 Creative Toolbox

LEGO set 17101 Creative Toolbox, released in 2017 as part of the Other line, has 847 pieces. Its inventory breaks down into 216 different lots, across 22 colors.

That places it outside a clearly defined story line or licensed world and makes its description depend mainly on its open construction role.

Without adding undocumented functions, the set can be described as a parts based assortment, where the value lies in building, combining, and adapting elements rather than recreating one stated subject.

It is best suited to builders looking for a pool of elements for original creations, modifications, or additions to other models. It may also interest collectors who track references outside the more familiar themed ranges. Within Other, it stands as a general, inventory led set, identified chiefly by its number, year, piece count, and absence of minifigures.
