LEGO Other 40172 Brick Calendar

LEGO set 40172, Brick Calendar, represents a brick built calendar and is placed under the root theme Other. Released in 2017, it contains 278 pieces and 1 minifigure, giving it the character of a compact display or desk model.

Brick Calendar is based on a familiar everyday object rather than on a vehicle, building, or licensed scene. Its subject is direct, a calendar interpreted through LEGO elements.

The build is centered on creating the calendar itself, with the parts serving a compact and self contained presentation.

This set is aimed at builders and collectors who appreciate unusual LEGO subjects outside the main narrative themes. It can be used as a display piece on a desk or shelf, or kept as part of a collection of non licensed novelty models. Within Other, Brick Calendar is best understood as a practical object in LEGO form rather than a character led playset.
