LEGO Minecraft 21128 The Village

LEGO Minecraft 21128, The Village, depicts a village inspired by the Minecraft game within the Minecraft theme. Released in 2016, the set contains 1600 pieces and builds a scene with structures, villagers and recognizable creatures from the game.

The Village has a clear role in the LEGO Minecraft theme because it presents a village environment rather than a single landscape section or a stand alone conflict scene. The model follows the block based visual language of the licence and points to exploration, village life and encounters with hostile creatures.

Together, these elements create a play area with several builds and characters while retaining the modular, angular look associated with Minecraft sets.

This set suits builders who want a display scene, a play setting or a substantial addition to a Minecraft collection. On display, it reads clearly as a village from the game; in play, it brings together friendly, neutral and hostile characters. Within the theme, it can serve as a village hub for surrounding Minecraft environments.
