LEGO Exclusive 40230 The Magic of Play

LEGO set 40230, The Magic of Play, is a LEGO Exclusive release from 2024 with 113 pieces. It presents familiar LEGO characters recast in costume roles, using cross theme references rather than a single setting or vehicle as its main subject.

Its subject is the act of role play itself, shown through characters taking on identities associated with other LEGO worlds. This makes the set a compact reference piece rather than a conventional scene tied to one storyline.

It is aimed mainly at collectors who follow LEGO Exclusive items, minifigure variants, and cross theme references. It can also serve as a small display item or as a prompt for character based play.
