LEGO Technic 42105 Catamaran

LEGO Technic 42105, Catamaran, represents a twin hulled sailing boat within the Technic theme.

Set 42105 brings a catamaran into the LEGO Technic theme, focusing on a maritime subject rather than the road vehicles and construction machines often associated with the line.

The build uses 405 pieces and concentrates on the recognizable layout of a catamaran, with two hulls and a connecting central structure. The contents are therefore centred on the model itself, its nautical outline and the structural building approach expected from Technic.

Catamaran can be used as a display model, for play built around a boat, or as part of a Technic collection that covers different kinds of vehicles and machines. Compared with other Technic sets, its main distinguishing point is the choice of a boat subject, rather than a car, motorcycle, truck or work machine.
