LEGO City 60233 Donut Shop Opening

LEGO City set 60233, Donut Shop Opening, depicts the opening of a donut shop in a busy urban setting. Released in 2019, it belongs to the City theme and contains 790 pieces for a retail scene with staff, customers and other city characters.

Donut Shop Opening is part of LEGO City, the theme built around everyday urban life, public services and familiar street settings. The subject is a donut shop opening, giving the model a clear civic setting where shop staff, residents, press, police and construction related characters can share the same scene.

The line up includes Duke DeTain, a criminal with an open black jacket over a prison shirt, a woman barista, a man barista, a boy wearing a Classic Space themed shirt, several residents, a construction worker and a woman in a red jacket with a press badge. The figure selection makes the model broader than a simple shop build.

The set suits builders expanding a LEGO City layout with a commercial frontage and a populated street moment. It can serve play, display or minifigure collecting, especially for collections focused on modern city life. Within City, it sits among civilian street sets, combining a local business, everyday roles and a light police story element.
