LEGO set 71377, “King Boo and the Haunted Yard Expansion Set”, is part of the Super Mario theme and was released in 2020. With 431 pieces, it depicts a haunted yard focused on King Boo and is designed as an expansion for a LEGO Super Mario course.

This model belongs to the LEGO Super Mario theme, which adapts video game settings into buildable course modules. Its subject is a haunted yard with King Boo as the central reference. The set therefore represents a ghostly area of the Mario universe rather than a general landscape or neutral add-on.

Its build is best understood as an expansion module, providing themed scenery and course elements for use with a broader LEGO Super Mario layout.

It is aimed at builders who want to extend a LEGO Super Mario course with a darker, character-led section. Collectors of the theme may also value it as a distinct environmental entry within the range. For display, it works as a compact themed scene, while for play it is most naturally placed alongside other Super Mario modules.
