LEGO set 71420, “Rambi the Rhino Expansion Set”, represents a buildable rhinoceros connected with the Super Mario theme.

Set 71420 focuses on Rambi, the rhinoceros from the Nintendo universe, presented here within the LEGO Super Mario line. As an expansion set, it is best understood as an addition to an existing Super Mario layout rather than as a large stand alone scene.

The set consists of 106 pieces. The build is centred on the animal model and on the elements needed to place it within the broader Super Mario play environment.

It is suited to LEGO Super Mario collectors who want to add a recognizable creature from the licence to their selection. For play, it is most relevant when combined with other sets from the same theme. In a collection, it stands out through its small format and its focus on a buildable animal rather than a conventional character figure.
