LEGO Super Mario set 71422, Picnic at Mario's House Expansion Set, depicts a picnic scene at Mario’s house. Released in 2023, it belongs to the Super Mario theme and contains 259 pieces.

This expansion set presents a quieter location from the LEGO Super Mario range, focusing on Mario’s home rather than a purely obstacle based section. The picnic setting gives the model a domestic context and helps broaden the playable world around the main course elements.

The build uses 259 pieces to create a small themed scene with scenery and accessories. Its role is better understood as a buildable environment for display and course building.

It is suited to collectors and players who want to extend an existing LEGO Super Mario layout with a recognisable location. Within the theme, it sits among expansions that add setting and variety.
