LEGO Super Heroes DC 76138 Batman and The Joker Escape

Set 76138, Batman and The Joker Escape, depicts an escape scene with Batman, The Joker, Harley Quinn and an Arkham guard. Released in 2019 in the Super Heroes DC theme, Batman subtheme, it contains 171 pieces.

Batman and The Joker Escape is part of the LEGO Super Heroes DC range and sits within the Batman subtheme. Its subject is tied to Arkham, bringing together Batman, The Joker, Harley Quinn and an Arkham Asylum guard in a small escape-focused scene.

The model uses 171 pieces and is built around a compact play setting rather than a vehicle-led build. The 4 minifigures are Batman, Black Suit, Black Cape and Cowl, Yellow Batman Logo, White Headband, Arkham Asylum Guard, Black Hat, Harley Quinn in Prison Clothes and The Joker in Prison Clothes.

The set is relevant for DC minifigure collectors, especially because it includes prison-clothes versions of The Joker and Harley Quinn alongside an Arkham guard. In a Batman collection, it works as a narrative display or play module and contrasts with sets focused mainly on vehicles, since the emphasis here is on Arkham and an escape scenario.
