LEGO Exclusive 40504 A Minifigure Tribute

LEGO 40504, A Minifigure Tribute, is a LEGO Exclusive set released in 2023. With 1041 pieces, it builds a brick built tribute to a pirate captain minifigure, intended more as a display and collection model than as a conventional play set.

A Minifigure Tribute sits in the LEGO Exclusive theme, outside a regular licensed range or ongoing story line. Its subject is the LEGO minifigure itself, enlarged and rebuilt as a display model, with the pirate captain identity giving the tribute a clear classic LEGO character reference.

The focus is therefore the constructed character rather than a cast of small figures.

This set is aimed primarily at collectors, fans of LEGO minifigure history, and builders looking for a recognizable display piece. Within LEGO Exclusive, it is best placed as a commemorative model centered on the minifigure format, rather than as an expansion to a play focused pirate setting.
