LEGO Promotional 40605 Lunar New Year VIP Add-On Pack

LEGO set 40605, Lunar New Year VIP Add-On Pack, is a promotional set themed around Lunar New Year, released in 2023 under Promotional, in the VIP Add-On Packs subtheme. It contains 124 pieces intended as decorative extras for use with other LEGO builds.

Set 40605 is part of the VIP Add-On Packs range, a group of promotional assortments designed to supplement existing builds rather than provide a single fixed main model. Its subject is Lunar New Year, expressed through small seasonal and festive elements. Within Promotional, it fits as a parts and decoration pack, not as a licensed story set or character driven release.

The French retail title mentions items such as rabbits, golden chopsticks and a turkey, indicating a varied decorative selection. Its practical use is therefore open ended: builders can add details to celebration scenes, display vignettes or custom creations.

This set is most relevant to collectors of promotional LEGO items, builders looking for themed decorative parts, and anyone adding Lunar New Year references to an existing display. Among the VIP Add-On Packs, 40605 is defined by its seasonal subject and accessory based content. It works as a small parts source for display, play setups or personal builds rather than as a standalone centerpiece.
