LEGO City set 60121, Volcano Exploration Truck, depicts a volcano exploration truck with a small field team. Released in 2016 in the City theme, it contains 175 pieces and presents a scientific working scene away from the usual urban setting.

Volcano Exploration Truck is part of LEGO City, a theme built around vehicles, professions and practical scenes. This set moves the City formula into volcanic terrain, using a truck as the central model for an exploration team working outside the normal street environment.

The set is made up of 175 pieces and 2 minifigures. The build focuses on the exploration truck and general field equipment, with the minifigures giving the scene its research crew.

It is suited to play based on travel, sampling and field activity, while remaining easy to place in a LEGO City display. For collectors, it represents the exploration side of City rather than police, fire or town service subjects. It can stand alone as a compact volcanic scene or be combined with other City vehicles to broaden a worksite or expedition layout.
