Tire Escape belongs to the LEGO City Police range and presents a self-contained chase and arrest situation. The premise is easy to read: a prisoner tries to get away using a tire, while a policeman moves to stop him. The set can sit beside a police station, a city street, or a waterfront scene in a LEGO City layout.

The build uses 47 pieces and includes 2 minifigures. The policeman has a bright light blue jacket with zipper, radio, badge and tie, dark blue legs, a dark blue cap, a yellow life vest and orange sunglasses. Simon Sin wears an orange vest marked #92116, a prison shirt tied at the waist, a black hat and a moustache.

This is mainly a narrative play set, because it quickly establishes conflict between escape, pursuit and capture. On display, it works as a small detail vignette within a larger city. In a City Police collection, it is best viewed as a compact add-on rather than a main building or a major vehicle.
