LEGO Ninjago 70679, The Ultra Dragon, is a 2019 set built around a large dragon creature from the Ninjago theme. The model contains 952 pieces and includes 6 minifigures associated with the Legacy side of the range.

The Ultra Dragon uses one of Ninjago’s recurring subjects: the dragon as a powerful creature, story focus, and display centrepiece. Set 70679 sits within the Ninjago root theme, while its Legacy minifigures connect it to earlier characters and conflicts revisited by that part of the range.

The build uses 952 pieces to create the dragon model and supporting scene elements. The minifigure line-up is Master Wu with Gold Lettering on Robes, Lloyd (Legacy), Lasha (Legacy), Spitta (Legacy), Pythor P. Chumsworth, Purple (Legacy) and Lord Garmadon (Legacy).

This set suits Ninjago Legacy collectors as well as builders looking for a dragon-focused display model. The mixture of heroes and villains also gives it clear play value for character-driven scenes. Within the Ninjago assortment, 70679 is most naturally placed among creature models rather than vehicle or location-based sets.
